The APA-12 launcher-loader vehicle mounted on a GAZ-69 carriage served with the Mil Mi-2 helicopters in Börgönd. After the helicopter, also called the “flying chicken leg” was retired, the vehicle, named “Tommy”, continued its “unofficial” career. In 1996 it was restationed at Szolnok together with the Command and Courier Helicopter Regiment, and was finally retired later that year.
